The Skilled for Health programme, a cross-government-voluntary sector initiative, integrates the goals of reducing inequalities in health with those of improving the literacy, language and numeracy (LLN) skills of adults. The underlying premise is that by addressing both issues simultaneously, the impact on both sets of issues is greater than the impact of addressing them independently.
The Free Training is supported by The Public Health Directorate within Leicestershire County and Rutland PCT and is available to all staff working in the health improvement / education support fields. There are 3 Events taking place in the following areas; Coalville, Birstall and Narborough. Event 1 will be held at the Marlene Reid Centre on Wednesday 9th July 2008.For full details and a booking form then please select the document below.
