Carers
Are you a Carer? Do you look after someone?
Information, guidance and support for carers in North West Leicestershire are provided by the Carers Development Worker, Sarah Hoult-Ellingworth. She can also assist any carers groups that need help in any way, including completion of grant applications or promotion of services etc.
Carers Forums meet locally on a quarterly basis and these provide the opportunity to:
- meet workers from both voluntary and statutory agencies
- discuss topics of interest and concern with the relevant person
- voice any comments or criticisms
- provide information on any new services or developments affecting carers
So, if you give your time to look after a relation, friend or neighbour and would like support or someone to talk to, or if you would like to join the Carers Forum, then contact Sarah on 01530 510515 for more information.

DO YOU CONSIDER YOURSELF AS BEING FROM AN ETHNIC MINORITY
AND
ARE YOU CARING FOR SOMEONE?
WOULD YOU LIKE TO RECEIVE OUR CARERS NEWSLETTER BY E-MAIL
OR
WOULD YOU LIKE ACCESS TO A SUPPORT GROUP?
We would like to be able to provide you with information that other carers have access to. Is the INTERNET the best way for you to communicate with us, or is there another way?
Perhaps you would like to receive information by letter, telephone or fax. And would you like a support group in your locality?
If you are interested in any of these options, e-mail Sarah and let her know at:
