About Us
North West Leicestershire Council for Voluntary Service (NWLCVS)
North West Leicestershire Council for Voluntary Service is a Local Development Agency, which is a non-profit-making, independent of government (central and local), a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity.
It employs paid staff, both full and part-time, provides on-the-job placements for people on training schemes and involves volunteers in its work.
The Chief Executive of NWLCVS is Martin Gage
Martin has overall responsibility for developing, managing and co-ordinating the work of NWLCVS and for ensuring that all practices are consistent with Board of Trustees and Management policies.
NWLCVS Departments

Head of Department - Rosemary Leeson (Assistant Chief Executive).
Departmental Responsibilities - VANWL - Community Support and Development, Volunteer Centre, Carers Project, Disability Initiatives, Health & Social Care Project.
Enterprise, Training & Initiatives

Departmental Responsibilities- REACT Training & Furniture Recycling Project, The Marlene Reid Centre - Development and Customer Services, Social Enterprise, Nextsteps Information,Advice and Guidance Service,Funding Initiatives.
Outreach & Development
Head of Department- Lesley Massey
Departmental Responsibilities - Community Development & Advice Project - Community Development, Debt Advice, Welfare Advice.
Participation and Recreation Project (PaRP!)- Community Playbus, Rural Play, Toy Appeal, Toy Library and Play Resource Centre.
